Biometate production plants through the anaerobic digestion process produce a liquid called digestate. The opportunity to produce energy and therefore additional income has allowed the entrepreneur to invest in innovative technologies for the correct management and sustainable reuse of livestock manure and for the management of any surplus nitrogen in the company or territorial balance sheet. We have developed two supply chains with tangential filtration systems, one chain aimed at reducing the nitrogen load using an MBR system, while the other chain allows to enhance the N-Tot and ammoniacal nitrogen load through direct filtration. This second supply chain is very complex and will allow in the future to obtain a by-product with high added value "high quality fertilizer".
