The functioning of MAZZEI injectors is based on the principle of creating a depression in an area of high liquid velocity. This is fed upstream of a tube section where speed increases and the gas is injected. High turbulence creates micro-bubbles, resulting in the obtainment very high gas/liquid mass transfer coefficients.
The new series MAZZEI injectors present the following features:
- Vanes positioned in the outlet cone to obtain higher transfer coefficients
- Better formation of micro-bubbles
- Decrease of off-gases
- High-precision, robust design
- Use of ozone-resistant PVDF or stainless steel
- Readily-available technical and application support
The standard construction for small dimensions (from ½" to DN100) is obtained by casting in PVDF, an extremely durable fluorinated polymer. This makes it possible to maintain an extremely high quality standard, while limiting costs.
For larger sizes (up to DN300) or for special applications (e.g. high pressure), injectors are manufactured in AISI 316L.
A new patent was granted to MAZZEI in the United States to cover this product; international patents are pending.
Injector installed around a point of flow restriction, such as a valve, which will create a differential pressure, allowing the ejector to create a vacuum.
Installation in combination with a centrifugal pump to raise the pressure through the injector so as to produce a differential pressure and create vacuum.
Injector installed across the differential pressure created by an existing pump.
Injector installed on the main flow line with the flow rate monitored by a valve on the by-pass line.
Installation directly on the main flow line with total system flow passing through the injector.
